What you need to know about the planning?
- You may register for participation in the competition.
- The first round will start on the 7th of February.
- As an individual player you will be presented with the necessary information and choices at the start of each round. You discuss plans and implement decisions collectively. Each round should take about one and a half hours to complete. Each week your input must be submitted by Friday afternoon 16.00h (UTC+1) at the latest. All you need is a computer connected to the internet.
- Every Monday you receive a report on the current state of affairs (in which the consequences of your previous strategic and tactical decisions are extrapolated over a six month period - this is your new starting point). You will also be given new information and instructions.
- The final will be held between the best teams in January. Here you will meet the other teams in person and have the opportunity to enter into joint ventures, discuss strategies, and negotiate. The team that delivers the highest ROI to The Fresh Connection is the winner!
- On the March 30th, 2011, the final event takes place for the occasion of Supply Chain World Congress at the Heysel. All teams take part.
- The final competition will take place on March 30th of 2011 at the Supply Chain World Event in Brussels Expo. All teams will take part in this finale. You will meet the other teams in real life and get the opportunity to close partnerships, discuss strategies and negotiate. In parallel, several supply chain management opinion leaders will give a presentation and various workshops on supply chain management will take place. At the end of the day the public (all teams as well as the visitors to the Event) will vote for the public prize winner.
- The team that provide The Fresh Connection with the highest ROI, are the winners! The winning team will be announced at the exclusive evening event which also takes place on March 30th, 2011 in the Brussels area. It promises to be an interesting award presentation with entertainment and unique networking opportunities.
